Kellie has always had a passion for decorating and a flare for hosting. She learned the love of interior decorating from her mother who always included her on any decorating decisions that she made.
As a young adult, Kellie took courses to get certified in interior design. She also received her degree in Human Services and obtained a job working as a licensed administrator for assisted living communities in SC and GA; which she has been doing for 23 years.
Although working with seniors is the path that God led Kellie down (she has a true servant’s heart), she always found ways to incorporate decorating into her life- whether it be in her own home, doing jobs for friends, or in her assisted living communities. In addition, Kellie developed a passion for event planning and hosting.
When her daughter Emilee Grace was born, in 2009, Kellie felt that it was important to create memorable birthday parties for her that she would be able to share with her friends for years to come. So every year, a different theme; each one more elaborate than the next. From lady bugs to Hawaiian luaus, Fairy garden to a Parisian Café,
Kellie used her imagination and creativity to create amazing parties for her little girl.
Kellie demonstrates an unsurpassed level of expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment. With her husband Donald and Emilee Grace’s support, she created Tootie Bug Party Planning where she has the opportunity to utilize her skills and passions to create amazing parties for children and children at heart.
Tootie Bug is the nickname she gave her daughter when she was born and thought it was a fitting name for her business.
Kellie looks forward to the opportunity to work with you to provide a memorable experience for your loved one. If you have the vision, Tootie Bug Party Planning can bring it to life!
